Certificate of origin drafts

Certificate of origin drafts, ready with the invoice

Expodite prepares the exporter's draft of your certificate of origin from the same shipment data as your invoice. Your team stops retyping buyer, goods and invoice details, and the draft always agrees with the invoice.

  • Non-preferential drafts and drafts for India's main trade agreements
  • The right draft for the destination country
  • REX statements for GSP markets

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Enter the shipment once

Buyer, consignee, ports, goods, HS codes, packages and invoice details come from the shipment your team is already working on.

  2. Step 2

    See the right draft

Expodite shows the draft that suits the destination. A shipment to Dubai brings up the India-UAE CEPA draft. A shipment to Melbourne brings up the India-Australia ECTA draft.

  3. Step 3

    Print and submit

Print or download the draft and submit it to the issuing body as you do today. It carries the same figures as your invoice.

Preferential origin

Drafts for the agreements your buyers use

Buyers in trade agreement markets pay less duty when the goods come with the right preferential certificate. Expodite has exporter's drafts for India's main trade agreements, such as ASEAN-India, SAFTA, India-UAE CEPA, India-Australia ECTA and India-UK CETA, plus GSP Form A.

  • A non-preferential draft for all other markets
  • The right draft for each destination
  • Filled from shipment data, never retyped
GSP and REX

REX statements from the same data

For GSP markets, Expodite prepares the REX statement on origin. Your REX number is stored once on the exporting entity and prints on every document that needs it.

  • REX number stored once
  • Printed wherever it is needed
  • Same buyer and goods details as the invoice

Help with origin rules and special cases

A worksheet helps your team record how a product qualifies under an agreement, so the answer is ready when a buyer or issuing body asks. The library also holds drafts for special cases required by certain markets and products.

  • Origin worksheet ready to use
  • Drafts for special market requirements
  • Buyer requests for preferential origin noted on the enquiry
