Enter each remittance once, split it across invoices

Record what your buyer sent, what the banks took and what reached your account. Then allocate it across one or many invoices. You always know what each buyer still owes, to the rupee.

  • Bank charges recorded, down to the rupee credited
  • Your team confirms every match, nothing guessed
  • Part payments, short payments and advances handled

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Record the remittance

Enter the remittance once, with its bank and IRM details, and attach the FIRC or bank advice. You can also record it from the shipment.

  2. Step 2

    Allocate it to invoices

Expodite suggests matching invoices and you choose. You see the result before you save, and nothing can be over-allocated.

  3. Step 3

Convert at your contract and spot rates

Convert using your forward cover and spot rates on the same receipt. The gain from forward cover is shown.

Gross to credited

Every bank charge accounted for

Buyers send one amount and you receive less. Expodite shows the full path from what the buyer sent to what reached your account, with every bank charge and the GST on it. Rupee figures are fixed on the day, so your records do not shift later.

  • Overseas and local charges kept apart
  • GST on bank charges recorded
  • Rupee figures fixed on the day
Short and early payments

Small shortfalls and advances, handled cleanly

When a buyer pays a little short because of bank charges, you can close the invoice and record the difference as a bank charge. Larger gaps stay open. Money that arrives early, or more than is owed, is held as an advance against the buyer.

  • Small bank-charge gaps closed cleanly
  • Larger shortfalls stay outstanding
  • Advances held against the buyer
Safe corrections

Fix mistakes without losing the record

Correct a typing error without reversing the receipt. If a receipt must be reversed, Expodite shows you what will change before you confirm. Nothing is deleted.

  • Effects shown before you reverse
  • Reversed receipts stay on record
  • Activity history on every receipt

Questions

Can one remittance pay several invoices?

Yes. Record the remittance once and split it across as many invoices as needed, including part payments.

How are payments matched to invoices?

Expodite suggests the likely invoices and your team confirms each one, after seeing the result.

How are bank charges recorded?

Each bank charge and the GST on it is recorded, from what the buyer sent to the rupees credited to your account.

What happens if a buyer pays before we raise the invoice?

The money is held as an advance against that buyer and shown on the receipt.

Can we record IRM and FIRC details?

Yes. Each receipt holds its FIRC and IRM details, and you can attach the FIRC, SWIFT copy or bank advice.
