How it works

  1. Step 1

    Start from the order

    Pick one or more confirmed orders and the lines to ship. Expodite keeps you from shipping more than was ordered. Need to send something extra? Add it from your product list.

  2. Step 2

    Pack and book

    Enter the cartons, bags or drums and the pallets they sit on. Weights and counts follow on their own. Booking and container details are added as the work moves forward.

  3. Step 3

    Clear, ship and get paid

    Customs papers, shipping documents, invoicing, payments and incentives are all handled on the same shipment. Your team ticks off each step as it is done.

Record the cartons, bags or drums and the pallets or crates they sit on. One pallet can carry cartons of different products. Weights, CBM and package counts are calculated, never typed, and goods weighed one by one carry their real weights to the invoice and packing list.

Ship the way your business really trades

Most shipments start from an order. Some do not: a sample lot, a top-up for a regular buyer, a spot sale. Ship from several orders at once, add extra items to an order shipment, or create a spot shipment straight from your product list. Agreed prices carry over from the order.

Margin per shipment

Know what each shipment really earned

Record freight, insurance, CHA charges and other costs against the shipment as they come in, each with its vendor and currency. The margin is clearly marked as provisional until the final bills are in, so nobody mistakes an estimate for the final figure.

Can one shipment cover several orders?

Yes. Choose lines from one or more confirmed orders. Expodite keeps you from shipping more than was ordered, and the documents carry every order's references.

Can we ship without an order?

Yes. Create a spot shipment for the client and add items from your product list. You can also add extra items to a shipment that started from an order.

How do I know when a shipment is falling behind?

The shipment list shows each shipment's progress and status. If a shipment is not ready as departure comes close, Expodite alerts the team and, if nothing moves, a manager.

Can the steps match how we work?

Yes. The workflow is set up to match your process, and shipments already under way are not disturbed when it changes.

Are payments and incentives part of the same shipment?

Yes. Payments, eBRC and export incentives such as RoDTEP and duty drawback are steps on the same shipment. This is export management software, so finance works from the same record as dispatch.
